Welcoming Parisian gray skies
We made it to France! Before departing baggage claim, the fellow Jersey girl Brittany Barretto and I pose for some bienvenue le France shots. Brittany told me that by the end of the year she plans to top my blazer in pins. Bring it on!
My Rotary district is up of two incredible prefectures of France, Champagne and Burgundy. There are 3 of us in Burgundy, two of us were getting a ride to the Dijon area. That would be me and my new friend Alex from NY. As we rode from the slummy areas of Paris into to gorgeous French countryside, the blue sky opened up and we began to fall in love with our new home.
