A Little Surface Scratching

General:
My name is Julianne, but please do not call me that. Instead call by one of my nicknames according to countries. In America, people call me Julie or Jules. While the Japanese pronounce it like Jurie or Judy. In France, friends and family call my Julie, but it is pronounced very elegantly. (If you are an English speaker, don't even try it.) I'm a Yo-yo, which oddly enough is not a crazy person. Instead a Yo-yo is the name of Rotary Youth Exchange Student that has gone on exchange TWICE. Maybe I am a little bit crazy.

Favorite Movies:
Pop a movie in and I'll watch it, it could be anyting and I'd probably enjoy it. The movies that I can watch over and over and over and over again are What a Girl Wants, Star Wars, Where the Heart Is, Pride and Prejudice, Jaws, Twister, Lion King, Finding Nemo, Legally Blonde...

Favorite People:
It's difficult to distinguish who my favorite people are. I think everyone I have ever met has given me something to take from and learn about. From someone I meet for 2 minutes on a ski lift, to someone who has watched me grow and loved me in all the bad times and good times. I think my favorite people in this world are those that have taught me something about the world. My family, friends, teachers, host families, and anyone I have ever passed in a fleeting glance.

Plans for the Future:
Future Florida State Seminole, Clemson Tiger, or Virginia Tech Hookie! International Relations and Japanese double major... future resident of the world. Hey, ya never know... I may end up staying in one country for more than a few years.
